- We are best friends, who just happen to also be husband and wife. Our story is not the traditional one. Our wedding was not black-tie. Our lives aren't the society standard American Dream. Here I sit, crying again! The sign behind them that says "thanks for coming" is really what got to me! Troy is doing great things over there for those people!! He will be home before you know it! (but I know it is still hard for you to have to wait! You are both in my prayers)
