New Family Tradition

Troy and I celebrated our one year anniversary last week! I can't believe it's already been a year since the accident, the move, the marriage...oh, how time flies!!

We have been getting settled into our new house in Las Vegas, and I truly have felt SO BLESSED lately! We both have fantastic jobs, we have a great house with lovely things that keep us comfortable, we are more in love today than we were when we first fell in love! I have a great husband who is so talented and such a good provider - both financially and emotionally! We both have recently formed new friendships and improved existing ones. Troy started a band with a guy named Derek whom he has become great friends with! I have formed a great friendship with Joy, my boss's daughter and my co-worker Mi Ann! Nearly a year after moving here, it really feels like this is where we belong.

Troy and I started a new family tradition this weekend. While on vacation, Victor and Amanda (my brother and soon to be sister-in-law) taught us a dice game called Farkle. It is so fun and so addicting! (Comment or call me for the instructions.) Troy and I played last night after dinner while watching conference re-runs on BYUTV. It was a great night! We decided to make it a regular Sunday event!
